How to Make Your Tour Reservation

A valid passport is required for all travelers. Your passport must be valid for a minimum of 6 months after your date of return.
Deposit at The Time of Booking: A deposit of 25% of the total invoice is required payable by credit card or check to proceed with reservation – Unless otherwise specified. If you are paying by check, please make checks payable to Explore India Journeys Inc.
FINAL PAYMENT BETWEEN 90 – 120 DAYS PRIOR TO DEPARTURE unless otherwise the specified final payment date on your invoice. The final Payment will be paid automatically with the credit card on file. Please call or email us if you would like to pay your final payment with a check, or a different credit card.
Cancellation Notice: In the event of cancellation, you are solely responsible for any/all penalties imposed by the travel provider, tour operator, air carrier, hotel, etc.). In the event of a delay and you cannot reach the destination, you will be solely responsible for all costs relating to the continuation of my trip. This might include air transportation, ground transportation, and hotel accommodations. In the event of total cancellation, you will be responsible for all penalties imposed by the travel provider.
Cancellation – Cancellation requires written notification and will take effect the day it is received by Explore India. The following penalties will apply unless otherwise specified on your invoice tour confirmation.

Read Invoice Thoroughly.
Please thoroughly review your invoice once you have received it. The Customer will be the only recipient of invoices and is solely responsible to convey all information listed on invoices to all travel companions. Multiple invoices will not be issued. Passenger names should reflect the complete legal names. Notify your Explore India Specialist immediately if changes or corrections are needed.
Travel Insurance is Strongly Recommended.
By purchasing this tour package you accept and understand that this booking does not automatically include travel insurance. Your travel investment is important to us. We strongly recommend that you protect your investment by taking advantage of the comprehensive Trip Cancellation and Trip Interruption coverage available at Explore India Journeys Inc. Travel insurance provides protection for the traveler in the event that the trip is canceled due to certain circumstances (for specific inclusions/exclusions, please contact your Explore India specialist for a detailed insurance brochure.
Passenger Information: Passengers are responsible to ensure that Explore India has the correctly spelled name as appears on your traveling documents, address, phone, and email data for all passengers. Names printed on the invoice must exactly match the first and last name written on their passport. Explore India will not be responsible for passengers who do not receive an invoice or documents due to inaccurate information.
Documents: Provided that full payment is received no later than your final payment date documents will be sent 45 – 30 days prior to departure by regular mail.
International Airlines: Once issued, tickets are non-refundable. Airline schedules and flights are subject to change without notice. Explore India is not responsible for penalties incurred for tickets.
Seat Selection: As a courtesy service, complimentary airline seat assignments are requested on your behalf and, when available, Assignments reflect the best available seats at the time of booking. Some airlines and/or fare types do not allow for pre-seating and require this to be done at airport check-in only. Seats are subject to change by your airline(s) including, for example, when there is a schedule change or equipment change after your initial booking; this may cause seat assignments to be changed or even canceled. Some airlines offer preferred seating for an additional fee; these seats may only be purchased directly from the airline. Explore India shall not be held responsible.
Hotel Accommodation: This Will be provided in accordance with the itinerary. We reserve the right to make substitutions with hotels of equal standard. There will be no refunds for any difference in the cost of those accommodations. All rooms are standard twin-bedded rooms with private facilities unless you have specifically requested and paid for an upgraded room category. Special requests such as bed types, smoking preferences, and connecting rooms are subject to availability. Room selection in all cases, unless otherwise reserved, is strictly at the discretion of the hotel’s management on a run-of-house basis allowing visitors to guest rooms.
Public Holiday: Tour dates include but are not limited to religious holidays and national celebrations, some monuments and sites may be closed. On these occasions, touring itineraries may be amended to reflect these closures.
Tour Pace: India Land programs that encompass multiple days customarily include extensive and prolonged activity, however, each program varies and participants should be prepared to negotiate a mixture of surfaces which may include: inclines, cobblestones, sand, gravel, or natural paths. There may also be a need to climb steps or stairs on occasion and a good amount of walking.
Responsibility: Explore India accepts no liability or responsibility, whether occasioned by railroad, motor coach, private car, boat, aircraft, or during tour activities like elephant rides, camel rides, safari’s, etc., or any other conveyance, for any injury, damages, loss, accident, delay or irregularity which may be occasioned either by reason or defect, through the acts or defaults of any company or person, or in carrying out the arrangements of the tour as a result of any cause beyond the control Explore India Journeys Inc. You specifically release Explore India Journeys Inc. from any and all claims for loss or damage to baggage or property, from personal injuries or death, or from loss from delay, arising out of the acts, omissions, or negligence of any other party, such as air carriers, hotels, sightseeing tour operators, restaurateurs, transportation providers, medical personnel, or other providers of services or facilities. All arrangements made for you with independent contractors, including medical services, are made solely for your convenience and are done at your own risk and cost. Explore India Journeys Inc. shall not be liable for delay or inability to perform any portion of the tour caused by or arising out of strikes, lockout or labor difficulties or shortages whether or not the carrier is a party thereto, or explosion, fire, collision, stranding or foundering of the vessel or breakdown or failure of or damage to the vessel or its hull or machinery or fittings howsoever and whosesoever any or the same may arise or be caused, or civil commotion, riot, insurrection, war, government restraint, requisitioning of the vessel, political disturbance, acts or threats of terrorism, inability to secure or failure of supplies including fuel, Acts of God, or other circumstances beyond its control.
